HTC Sense 6.0 Screenshot Leaked: Here’s What It Looks Like

Updated on

Speculations and leaked screenshots – who doesn’t like them? That’s why we’ve got our hands on HTC’s next flagship smartphone’s Android user interface called HTC Sense 6.0. This purported screenshot is courtesy of the ever-popular and reliable Twitter handle @evleaks.

New HTC Sense 6.0 UI leaked

As you can see in the screenshot, the interface indeed looks beautiful, and as per HTC’s style. HTC is not in any mood to move away from HTC Blinkfeed software, which curates information from various social networks and accounts from the web and presents a short glimpse of it.

What’s worth noting is the onscreen navigation buttons at the bottom of the screen, but does it give a hint that HTC will kill the capacitive buttons on the company’s next flagship phone? Well, one advantage of this would be that HTC might be planning to reduce the phone’s bezel size, thereby increasing the screen’s size. Just like the Nexus 4, Nexus 5 and some other Android smartphones which don’t come with any capacitive buttons, the next HTC’s flagship too might not come with any such capacitive buttons. The navigation dock is made transparent, which is a good step taken by HTC.

HTC One 2 and the naming dilemma

At this time, we don’t know much detail about HTC’s flagship smartphone, which is known by the name of HTC One 2, and codenamed HTC M8. The One 2 will definitely be more powerful, and will have a larger display compared to the HTC One. Hopefully we’ll be seeing the announcement about HTC One 2 soon, as Mobile World Congress is just around the corner.

So what do you think will HTC name the next flagship smartphone? Will it be the HTC One 2 (which sounds logical but weird), as per some previous rumors or will it be something else? Pour in your thoughts in the comments section below.
