3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD) said it will showcase its functional 3D printed aerospace parts and assemblies manufactured using Quickparts, its on-demand, cloud-based 3D printing service during the AeroDef Manufacturing Summit and Expositions, which will be held at Long Beach, CA on February 25-27, 2014.
According to the company, Quickparts provides customers with online quotes and manufactures 3D printed, functional end-use parts instantly. The company emphasized that companies engaged in the aerospace industry seeking for a quick-turn, short-run manufacturing of end-use parts for time-sensitive projects could benefit from Quickparts.
Some aerospace companies repeatedly depend on Quickparts’ expertise for their entire design and manufacturing requirements, according to 3D Systems Corporation (NYSE:DDD).
