The Xbox One is currently in the news these days as there are many new rumors attached to this gaming console. As per the rumors, Xbox One could be available in white, will get an update in March to fix some issues, will be launched in more markets and last but not least, it might also come without a Blu-ray drive.

Xbox One rumors surface online

These rumors and speculations come from The Verge, from their internal sources and also from online forums. According to the report, Microsoft is going to release its first major dashboard update for Xbox One in March. This update will focus on fixing variety of issues with the Xbox Live service, and some other system fixes. The blog also confirms the release date of this update from an online forum.

The forum poster claims that the Redmond company is indeed planning to release a white version of Xbox One. Microsoft employees from the Xbox team will be among the first to get their hands on the gaming console. This white gaming console will be released in October, and a 1TB version of Xbox One will be released in November.

Xbox One to be available in more countries

Besides these two rumors, there’s a rumor that Xbox One will also be available without a Blu-ray drive, which will be the cost effective version of the console. The console will be reportedly launched in April in Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Russia, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Colombia, Chile, and Argentina. In October, Xbox One will be launched in China, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece, Portugal, South Africa, Slovakia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Israel, India, Indonesia, and Egypt.

Microsoft earlier this month announced that the company sold more than 3 million Xbox One consoles after its launch in November. There were some issues faced by the early adopters such as failed updates, faulty disc drives and such. With this new update which is due in March, the company might be thinking to fix software related issues.
