Samsung is a company that never stays silent, especially when it comes to releasing smartphones. Apart from releasing new phones, the Korean company has released many different variants of the Galaxy S4. For example; Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, Galaxy S4 Active, S4 Mini, S4 Zoom, and there might be more depending on the country and carrier. Now, when it comes to rumors about Samsung’s next flagship phone, the Galaxy S5, we’ve got many details to talk about.

New Galaxy S5 variant is uncovered

Just like the Galaxy S4, the Galaxy S5 too is said to be released in many different variants. A device said to be the fourth variant of Galaxy S5 has appeared online.

SammyToday, a blog with a focus on Samsung products, has uncovered some interesting details on Galaxy S5’s fourth variant named the SM-G900H, which was submitted for Indonesian certification. Indonesian telecommunications regulator Postel has recently certified a new Samsung smartphone ‘SM-G900H.’ The other variants of Galaxy S5 have appeared as SM-G900A, SM-G900F and SM-G900S. Not many details are provided in the certification listing.

According to the information posted on SammyToday, this fourth variant of Galaxy S5 is said to be manufactured in three countries namely, Vietnam, China and South Korea.

Rumored specs of Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung’s upcoming flagship, the Galaxy S5, is rumored to come with a large 2K display, powered by a new 64-bit 8-core Exynos processor or a quad-core Snapdragon processor and 4GB RAM. It would feature a 16-megapixel camera with improved low-light picture quality, 4,000 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. Apart from that, the company is also said to include a fingerprint scanner, much like the iPhone 5S. Previous reports suggested that it would come with a retina scanner.

The Galaxy S5 is said to be launching in March, while some sources claim that Samsung will unveil the device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) event in February.
