China’s year-end cash crunch, the one that the government didn’t want journalists to call a cash crunch, is a very serious situation, Patrick Chovanec, chief strategist at Silvercrest Asset Management, said this morning on the MoneyBeat show.
“It’s very similar to what happened after Lehman collapsed,” he said, “where people can’t get enough cash to cover their obligations.”
