Pandora Surge a Nice Start to the Week for Mandel, Soros

Starting off the week strong are Pandora Media Inc (NYSE:P), Solarcity Corp (NASDAQ:SCTY), Penn Va Corp. (NYSE:PVA). On the other end of the spectrum are Sarepta Therapeutics Inc (NASDAQ:SRPT), Dryships Inc. (NASDAQ:DRYS) and Tempur Sealy International Inc (NYSE:TPX).

Pandora is today’s top performing stock

Topping off our midday gainers list this Monday is Pandora Media Inc (NYSE:P). The  internet radio service provider shot up +10.62%, hitting $30.40. Billionaire Steve Mandel holds a little over 20 million P shares, composing 2.33% of his fund. The investor paid an average price of $24.59 per asset. George Soros has a 78,000-share position as well.

Solarcity Corp (NASDAQ:SCTY) is the second stock in our midday gainers list. The solar systems company rose +9.13% today, reaching $64.88. As of September, Tiger Global holds 500,000 shares (0.29% of the fund), acquired at an average $36.89 each.
