Seth Klarman wins with Novagold

Today’s midday gainer is Novagold Resources Inc. (NYSEMKT:NG). The exploration and development company shot up +9.45%, reaching $2.78. In September, Seth Klarman reported holding 21.68 million shares, and John Paulson owns 35.8 million shares.

Following Novagold Resources Inc. is the Utah-headquartered marketing company Fusion-Io Inc. (NYSE:FIO), the share price of which increased +8.06% today. David Tepper is the only billionaire tracked by iBillionaire with FIO shares, though he’s been decreasing his position in the company since March of 2013. According to his last 13F filing, he now holds 496,000 assets.

Topping off our daily losers list is Dryships Inc. (NASDAQ:DRYS). The company’s share price dipped -7.04% today. Richard Chilton owns 3.2 million DRYS assets, bought at an average price of $2.77 each. Another billionaire that has DRYS among his holdings is George Soros, with 590,000 shares.

Following Dryships Inc. is Angie’s List (NASDAQ:ANGI), which dropped -6.73%. As of September, George Soros holds 1.5 million shares, acquired at an average price of $15.71.

Last up is building products manufacturer Ply Gem Holdings Inc.(NYSE:PGEM) The company’s share price dipped -4.88% today. David Tepper has been buying shares of this company since June 2013 and, according to his last 13F filing, owns 440,000 shares, acquired at an average price of $18.94 each.
