What we can expect from iPhone 6

We already know Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s next phone will be released in 2014. What we don’t know is the exact date. Analysts have been trying to analyze the precise date based on the information they have. One website, Epoch Times, reports the phones won’t arrive in stores until October. Given the history of Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s previous iPhone releases, this report could be true. Bloomberg News also predicts a fall release.

A new report from Investors Business Daily claims Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s next great smartphone will arrive in either June or July. Mehdi Hosseini (analyst for Susquehanna Financial Group) believes it will be a more significant product refresh. He added, “Although there is no color yet on the iPhone 6 specs, our recent checks in Taiwan and Korea suggest Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) has already begun negotiating with its memory suppliers to secure capacities.”

Apple could launch phablet-style phones

There is little doubt Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s iPhone 6 will be an impressive upgrade from the previous generation. One major highlight for the iPhone 5S is the fingerprint sensor which adds security to the device, although there have been reports that is not as secure as everyone hoped for. Although there is no way to predict what exactly Apple will bring with their next phone, some rumors suggest a larger smartphone is on its way.

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s biggest competitors have already launched large phablet-style phones and there is a huge demand for them. According to a recent report from International Business Times, the new phone could feature an OLED screen, 13 MP sensor, and Sapphire Glass. All these reports are just rumors as of yet, but it’s possible that some of these reports could have some truth to them.
