Update 15:29 EST: According to local news station KDKA, the police are actively searching for the person that carried out the shooting at Brashear High School. The police are using a dog unit along with uniformed officers in order to search nearby wooded areas for at least one shooter. Authorities did not say how many people carried out the attack, or how badly injured those involved were.
It has been confirmed by local media that at least one victim was being loaded into an ambulance at the scene. The three victims were being taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital and Allegheny General Hospital.

Authorities had not released any ionformation about the shooting at time of writing, but the Pittsburgh Post Gazette managed to get some information about the incident from local police.
According to the news outlet the shooting was reported at about 2:50 p.m. Authorities were on the scene according to the report. The local CBS affiliate, KDKA, said that police told them that three people were shot in the course of the incident. It was not clear whether any students were among the injured, or whether any of those shot were injured.
