Nexus 5 launch

The Nexus 5 is one of the premium phones on Android. The device comes with a 5 inch screen with a 1080p resolution, it supports LTE wireless, it runs on the Snapdragon 800 processor, and it weighs just 130 grams. The device is available in both black and white versions and will be available in the United States on every network bar Verizon.

The only problem with the Nexus 5, according to a hands on review from The Verge, is the sub-standard build quality of the smart phone. The case of the phone is plastic, and it feels that way according to the review, which was authored by Dieter Bohn. The device may not feel great, but it may be more durable than some of the others on the market. The screen is made of Gorilla Glass 3, which is light and durable.

Android KitKat

The Nexus range of smart phones has never been the biggest seller in the Android world. Instead the smart phones have been used as an example of hat can be done with Android. Each new device has come with the latest version of Android installed clean. And the latest version is no different. The Nexus 5 comes with Android KitKat.

the new software is important for a couple of reasons. First off all, it’s been designed to function on the widest range of Android devices possible. That is hoped to end the fragmentation of the Android platform, and bring all devices in line.

The software includes other new features like improved visuals on the icons and menus and SMS is now integrated into Google Inc Hangouts. The software will be available as a download from carriers whn it is available.
