Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) is planning to launch its largest Lumia phone in India, after its recent flagship Lumia 925 was available for pre-order on e-commerce sites. Citing sources, a report from Times of India says that Nokia may launch the Lumia 625, with the largest touchscreen in its portfolio, in the second or third week of August.

Nokia Lumia 625 has a screen size of 4.7 inch screen with LCD capacitive touch screen display and a pixel resolution of 480×800. Lumia 625 is powered with Windows Operating system like all other Lumia phones.
Nokia Lumia 625 is fitted with 1.2GHz dual Core Snapdragon S4 processor, 512 MB RAM and has 8GB of internal memory, expandable upto 64 GB though a micro card slot. A 5 megapixel rare camera is sported on the phone with LED flash and towards the front Lumia 625 has a basic VGA camera for video calling. Nokia Smart camera is incorporated with one of the best features of the camera in the Lumia range. Nokia Corporation (ADR) (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) has not cut down any features of this smart camera even though the phone is positioned as budget phone. Nokia Lumia 625 comes with the regular connectivity options and supports a li-Ion 2000 mAh battery.

Nokia Lumia 625 looks like an impressive device in the budget range and it is expected that Nokia will not overprice the phone. Though we have an idea on the launch date, the price still remains a mystery. Nokia Lumia 925 could bear a price tag of Rs. 33,000 (approx. $600), so it is expected that Nokia Corporation (NYSE:NOK) (BIT:NOK1V) (HEL:NOK1V) will launch one budget phone along with one premium phone.
Nokia Lumia 925, launched earlier this year, had an aluminum casing with a more advanced camera than Lumia 920. Nokia India official website showcased this phone in May and lowered the price of Nokia 920 this year, which at present is the top Lumia model in India.
Lumia devices are mainly positioned to target youth with trendy designs and colored skins. The user can select from multiple colors and can change the panels of the phone, as well.
According to the Times of India, Nokia Lumia 1020, which has 41 megapixel PureView camera and was unveiled recently, will not be launched as of now but may hit the markets by September or October.
