Google launched Jelly Bean, last month

Just a few weeks back, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) launched its new Android 4.1 code named Jelly Bean in company’s I/O Developers Conference, in San Francisco. At the conference, Google unveiled the swiftness of Jelly Bean’s new animation system. New Android 4.1 has enhanced visuals, better response to touch and new search experience.

There is a high speed camera to track the touch response of Jelly Bean and the new keyboard predicts the word being typed. Users can also type without data connection over keyboard, which supports voice-typing offline. Further, Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) informed that voice inputs will be added in English and various other languages like Hindi, Thai and Farsi.

At the conference, Google also unveiled Nexus 7 tablet weighing 12 ounces, with a 1,280 x 800 display. It is fitted with Nvidia chipset with a quad-core CPU and qw-core graphic processor. Google entered into partnership with Asus to manufacture Nexus 7. Nexus 7 will be available with a price tag of $199 and with a $25 coupon for Google Play Store. Many are looking at Nexus 7 as a threat to high priced Apple iPad and Kindle Fire.

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) announced in the conference that it has already sold 400 million Android devices and per day activation of the number of devices increased to 1 million from the previous year’s 400,000.
