Apple’s low cost device
According to Chinese blog, the Hon Hai Precision has started to produce the low priced iPhone that will be available in various shades. On the other hand, a French Site has published pictures of colorful back casing of the iPhones. The low priced phone from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will have the same price as of iPhone 4S.
CEO T.H. Tung of Pegatron commented a few weeks ago about the low priced iPhone and said that it actually won’t be that low in price as expected.
iPhone 5S with high speed LTE
Rumor that the iPhone 5S will be having high speed LTE is only based on the discussion between South Korea based SK Telecom and Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL). Incorporating LTE advanced technology in iPhone 5S will boost the possible download speeds to 150 Mbps, almost two times the speed of 4G LTE available in United States. SK Telecom is the sole network carrier to support this technology and US carriers are planning to do the same.
Other rumors
Last week, MacRumors posted images of iPhone 5S. The images show the place where the processor is fitted, and most probably it is the A7 processor. Another image shows the LED flash bulbs reflecting the idea that the internal design and component of the forthcoming iPhone will be entirely different from the previous ones.
According to Venture Beat the new phones from Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) will not have a glass or metal casings. It will rather be made of hard, durable plastics. The different shade low priced phones are also expected like the iPods. MacRumors published a photo of green casing of the iPhone.
A risky move
According to some sources the next gen iPhone will be available in a wide range of colors and will run on re-engineered iOS 7, which is better than the previous versions of the Operating systems. The color experiment of Apple on its phones is a dicey strategy and may risk the satisfaction of long time customers. The company has, however, taken risks always rather than keep on going by a trend.
Chinese tech blog has also claimed that Foxconn has shipped the low budget iPhones to Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) for launch this fall. The iPhone mini also known as iPhone 5S will be launched between August and October.
