Give Your iPhone An iOS 7 Look With This Theme

Updated on

Apple has unveiled the company’s latest mobile operating system—the iOS 7—at the Worldwide Developers Conference on Monday. The OS does comes with a new look, and several new features, like the improved notification center, all new multitasking screen, lock screen notifications, iTunes Radio, quick settings and more. While not all these functionalities may be possible to integrate into older iOS,  you can definitely give an iOS 7 look to your jailbroken iPhone – all thanks to a new theme, and yes, without installing iOS 7 beta.

Like always, the jailbreak community is here to your rescue for those who can’t wait to get that iOS 7 looks. A new theme called “iOS 7 Theme” has been launched on the popular Cydia store which requires WinterBoard to be installed in the iPhone. If you don’t have WinterBoard, then install it and then you can try out the new iOS 7 theme. Here’s how it will look.

The theme basically adds icons of the iOS 7 but that’s pretty much it. There is no new lock screen, notification center or any new feature that comes with the new OS in this theme. The theme was developed within just a few days of the announcement, and therefore we might see updates in the future.

Apart from that, you can also try out the iOS 7 Lock Screen theme. You can download this Lock Screen theme from the BigBoss repo, while the iOS 7 Theme is availalbe in the ZodTTD & MacCiti repo for free. You can try it out on your jailbroken iPhone 5, 4S, 4 or iPod touch 5G, 4G running iOS 6.x.
