Zynga Inc (ZNGA)’s “War of the Fallen” Is A Solid Card Battler

Updated on

Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) recently launched its second game in “card battle” section known as “War of the Fallen” for iOS and soon to be launched on Google Play. The new game from Zynga adds little more spunk to otherwise regular card battle games, which are all the same and released regularly, says a report from Forbes.

War of Fallen is a step ahead and stands almost in competition to games like Dark Summoner. The game requires the player to target on increasing their energy in order to travel through different maps and also attack and defense values.

“It’s rare to find a card-battler game that blends both accessibility and depth, and that’s what we’ve tried to deliver with War of the Fallen,” Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) general manager Scott Koenigsberg said in a statement.

The weakest part of the game is investing points in defense. The points let the mightier monsters be deployed when user needs defense against another players attacks. But the value of increasing attacks is higher than this, which the user can use in order to defend from players and also during a search of cards.

The session of Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA)’s War of Fallen are small and do not require the micro transaction purchases. However, there are sufficient game plays of five to ten minute sessions each hour or it can be even two if the player plays diligently and with dedication.

“The duration of the sessions is less and thus it is apt for the card battler who is traveling. Players paying for the game will be able to enjoy longer sessions, more inventories and can have higher quality cards immediately.”

Just like the many card battle games, this new one from Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) also provides incentives on recruiting friends and playing with them. The guilds will enable the possibilities to increase the special abilities of monsters to activate in the battle and also recruiting friends will enable the players to get the free stat points and cards.

The Card battle games are simple to play as the player needs to search around different maps and get cards, go to the higher level, give away their cards to provide more strength to other cards. At present, there are thousands of card games available on the phones and the games are now increasingly seen as the service with customer shifting towards the feature as durability of the phones and tablets.

Earlier, Zynga Inc (NASDAQ:ZNGA) launched Ayakashi: Ghost Guild, a fantasy card-battler with Japanese aesthetics. The game currently ranks 47 among the top 100 highest-grossing Android games.
