Elon Musk said that warranty offered to customers on purchasing a Tesla S model will take care of everything and anything the car comes across. The warranty is not only restricted up to physical accident or theft.

Musk also restated that the customers will be provided the fully loaded Model S, which could be even superior to their own car, whenever they take their car in. Further, Musk told that the company is now providing their customers with the Valet service, which means when the users bring their car for servicing it will be picked up and dropped to home.

Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) previously made it mandatory for the owner to bring its car for an annual checkup to resume the warranty. This inconvenient condition, however, has been scrapped, and the customers need not to do this anymore. The main focus of Musk, during the conference, was the warranty, which will cover many things other than accident. He further said that the user does need not to worry about anything and does not need to read the manual or the user guide. According to Musk any product that requires their users to go through the user manual is a broken product.

Musk was populated with questions like whether the statements released by Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) are after effect of unsatisfied or unhappy customers. Musk, however, neglected any such issue and said that this is the simple case of thinking from a customer’s point of view, which the company did.  The company is focused to deliver what customers want.

Musk also said that Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) does not want to cater their customers with just good or okay services. Instead, it wants to give customers great service and that everything the company offers should be great.

The Model X from Tesla will also offer similar services to the buyers and customers. However, the next model from Tesla, which would be launched in 2017, some of these services will not be given to the customers because the company is eyeing to provide an affordable car for a wider segment in the society.

Musk said that the service centers of Tesla Motors Inc (NASDAQ:TSLA) if not making losses will also not make a profit by overcharging the customer, the practice done by many automobiles. Musk said that Tesla should not be counted in amongst those. The idea of Musk behind this is no doubt to retain customers and make them brand loyal in order to reap benefits in the future.
