Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) plans on introducing the new versions of iOS and OS X at this year’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference. It’s safe to assume that the next iOS will be iOS 7, but it’s also predicted that Apple will introduce OS X 19.9, which would be the next version of Mac computers.

Apple WWDC Package: AAPL Will Show Off New Versions Of iOS, OS X

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL)’s marketing chief Phil Schiller released a press release on Wednesday with the suggestion that Apple may introduce another OS X in the near future. He explained, “We can’t wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into (developers’) hands at WWDC.”

When Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) released OS X 10.8 last year, the company unveiled the new operating system to a small group of select media members before sharing a press release with the official announcement.

This year’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference(WWDC) is set for June 10-14 in San Francisco. Tickets will officially go on sale tomorrow at 10:00 am Pacific Standard Time/1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

An updated version of OS X would most likely capture the interest of people who are still using Mac Books, but the real highlight of the upcoming WWDC will most likely be the iOS software that’s used for the perennially popular iPhone and iPad. It’s these two gadgets have made Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) what they are today.

Although it’s highly unlikely the iPhone 5S will be introduced sometime during the WWDC, the introduction of the next iOS generation will provide some insight as to what we can expect from the future iPhone. Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is pretty good about keeping the details surrounding their most anticipated products and services until the actual debut. Even with the numerous rumors and reports surrounding the next big thing, there is still much anticipation for the official product release as everything becomes official.

Whatever the Cupertino-based company has in store for us in the near future, it’s going to be good.
