Companies whose shares are expected to trade actively in today’s session are Annies Inc (NYSE:BNNY), Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OUTD), Transocean Ltd (NYSE:RIG), Ferro Corporation (NYSE:FOE), Aurizon Mines Ltd. (NYSEAMEX:AZK) (TSE:ARZ) and Stratasys Ltd. (NASDAQ:SSYS).

Annies Inc (NYSE:BNNY): The organic food company announced late on Friday that two of its biggest shareholders – SCI Partners LP and Solera Partners LP – are offering about 3.5 million shares. The two shareholders own a combined 38 percent stake in the company. Annies said it won’t receive any proceeds from the sale. As of February 1, Annies had 17.3 million outstanding shares. Its share prices declined 3.3 percent to $40.88 in the early trading session today.

Outdoor Channel Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ:OUTD): The sportsmen-focused cable network company has received an acquisition offer from Kroenke Sports & Entertainment LLC. Kroenke said it will pay $226.8 million for all the outstanding shares of the company, this offer is higher than an earlier offer received from another company. KSE sought to pay $8.75 per Outdoor share, a 17 percent premium over Outdoor’s closing price on Wednesday. The company’s shares soared 13.91 percent to $7.55 in today’s early trading session.

Transocean LTD (NYSE:RIG): The offshore oil driller’s stock is trading higher on the back of its fourth quarter profit. In the same period a year ago, the company had incurred heavy losses due to loss contingencies and impairment charges. Revenues in the latest quarter were also better than expected.  Shares rose 3.70 percent to $54.08 in early market trading today.

Ferro Corporation (NYSE:FOE): The specialty chemicals producer has received an acquisition offer from A. Schulman Inc (NASDAQ:SHLM). Ferro shares soared 29.42 percent to $6.73 in the early session today, well above A. Schulman’s offer price of $6.50 per share – A. Schulman had proposed to pay $563 million in cash and stock.

Aurizon Mines Ltd. (NYSEAMEX:AZK) (TSE:ARZ): The Canadian gold producer is being acquired by Hecla Mining Company (NYSE:HL) in a C$796 million cash-and-stock deal. Hecla has the backing of Aurizon board. American shares of Aurizon gained 3.79 percent to $4.38 in the early session.

Stratasys, Ltd. (NASDAQ:SSYS): The company reported its first quarterly earnings after its merger with Objet Ltd. Stratasys fourth quarter profits handily beat Wall Street estimates. The company also issued upbeat guidance for the current quarter. Shares rose 6.75 percent to $68.60 in the early session today.
