This computer will feature hard drives up to 1 terabyte and an Intel processor. It also features a multi-touch screen which enables multiple users to use the device at the same time. Users can also place the device on a flat surface or propped up on a hinge so the user can add a keyboard and mouse. The IdeaCentre Horizon will also run on Windows 8.

What’s more, this computer will feature an app store with over 5,000 apps and many of those apps are tabletop-style games made exclusively for the tablet. Lenovo Group Limited (PINK:LNVGY) (HKG:0992) also plans to sell game accessories like joysticks and e-dice to go with the games on the device. Examples of the games you can play on this device are ;Monopoly, air hockey, and roulette.

The tablet/hybrid will be available for purchase later this summer with the starting price of $1,699.

Lenovo’s Product Group president, Peter Hortensius, explained the appeal behind the IdeaCentre Horizon at the International Consumer Electronics Show. He said it takes the personal computing experience to a newlevel where it’s shared.

Another highlight from Lenovo at the CES was IdeaPad Yoga 11S, which runs the full Windows 8 rather than just Windows RT.  It features Intel Corporation (NASDAQ:INTC) Core processor, HD display of 1366 x 769, 256 GB of flash storage, and Dolby Home Theater Audio.

The company is also taking orders for the ThinkPad Tablet 2, a Windows-based device built with Intel’s “Clover Trail” atom chip. Lenovo Group Limited (PINK:LNVGY) (HKG:0992) plans to ship these new tablets on January 13th.
