Fortune has released its list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For, and Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) continues to hold the top spot. Of course Google being on top isn’t much of a surprise, although there were some surprises in the list, like the fact that Chesapeake Energy Corporation (NYSE:CHK), with all its problems of late, was even on it.

Fortune’s Top 10 Best Companies To Work For

Google Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG) has continued its trend of taking care of its employees, handing out 100,000 hours of massages for employees and adding three new wellness centers and a sports complex for employees to enjoy. SAS came in second for its addition of an organic farm to grow produce for its cafeterias and what one employee calls “creative anarchy.”

Third place on the list goes to CHG Healthcare Services, which has many employee-friendly events like talent shows and trivia contests.  The company also added two new health centers for employees. CHG Healthcare actually jumped up from the ninth spot on the list to take over third place.

Fourth was The Boston Consulting Group, which dropped down from second place last year. The company focuses on work-life balance for its employees by flagging those who work to many long hours. It also gives back to the community by allowing new consultants to volunteer at a non-profit for six months and earn $10,000. They don’t even have to start at the company until the six months is up.

Wegmans Food Markets came in fifth place, while NetApp was sixth. Hilcorp Energy Company landed in seventh place this year, and this is actually the first time it has made the list at all. The company promises sizeable bonuses to every employee for meeting goals. For example, 400 employees received a $50,000 bonus that they could put toward a new car after they met one of their goals.

Edward Jones dropped to eighth place after landing in the fifth spot last year. The company holds several employee events like fishing tournaments or ice skating parties. Ultimate Software, which pays 100 percent of healthcare premiums for its employees and gives out free vacations, and Camden Property Trust round out the top 10.
