Yesterday. we reported that Bank of America Corp (NYSE:BAC) ‘s website had been taken down in a Denial of Service attack. The attack was possibly the work of hackers associated with an Islamic extremist Group. We have just been informed that JPMorgan Chase & Co. (NYSE:JPM)’s Chase.com has also just gone down. We have tried to access the site from several locations without success. We have no idea what caused the site to go down, but our first guess would be that the incidents are related.
3:44PM EST: Chase’s official twitter account has issued the following statement:
Chase.com is experiencing intermittent issues. We’re working to restore full connectivity & apologize for any inconvenience.
