New pictures of the potential iPhone 5 have been leaked. One anonymous source sent TGBUS a series of photos of what is claimed to be the supposed iPhone- see above.

The iPhone 5 photos look authentic at first glance but a recent update from iPhoneItalia stated that although the images look a lot like the earlier proposed iPhone 5 images from previous leaks they’re really just three-dimensional versions created by a Flickr user.

On Monday, Apple held their Worldwide Developers Conference in San Francisco but as predicted, there was no talks or reports regarding the iPhone 5. Most likely, the iPhone 5 will be introduced sometime in September or October.

The photos of the next generation smartphone that were leaked feature a much thinner design, it also barely appears to extend beyond the width of antenna. This model seems to be a little bit taller in design, which makes since as numerous reports have indicated the phone will be 4.08 inches diagonal.

The leaked images also indicate that the new phone features a smaller dock connector which happens to match the rear of the device. The back surface cover of the phone appears to be made from a combination of aluminum and glass for a two-toned look, relocated audio jack, new speaker grills, and a larger camera lens with LED flash light.

The iPhone 5 is the most highly anticipated device of the year and it is for a good reason.  Many rumors indicate the sixth generation phone will feature a new design and a better camera.  So far nothing regarding the iPhone 5 itself has been confirmed, however, the iOS 6 (the operating system that’s expected to be featured in the next iPhone) was one of the key topics discussed during the WWDC.  Key features we can expect from the next generation of the iOS include call rejection, improved reminders app, and a new share screen. We’re excited to for the day the iPhone 5 is officially announced.
