Sneak Peek of Samsung Galaxy S III Test Unit [VIDEO]

In just mere weeks, we could find out more about the next generation of Samsung Galaxy – The Samsung Galaxy S III. In the meantime, we can take a look at this recent leak video from Tinhte (scroll down below), which showcases a smartphone with the model number GT-I9300, a name that’s  been linked with Galaxy phones.

According to Tinthe, a trusted Vietnamese tech website, Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. (LON:BC94) used a fake outer edge shell to cover up the device in hopes that they can keep their product under wraps until debut day.  It’s also reported that the new model features a Super Amoled Screen,  4.6 inch display/720×1184 pixel max resolution, 1.4GHz quad-core Exynos processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB storage, Ice Cream Sandwich software, and 8 megapixel camera with flash.  The guy in the video compares the new device with the Galaxy Nexus as he notes they share the same screen size.

Tinthe is a reputable website that’s been known for obtaining Apple devices before the public, so there is a pretty good chance that this is the next phone we’ve been waiting for. Reportedly, Samsung is planning a special event on May 3rd.

There are reports that Samsung Galaxy S III will be the official Olympic phone. We embedded the video review for you. The video is in Vietnamese but the subtitles are in English so you can follow it.

This video provides a lot of insight as to what we might expect with the next Samsung phone. The entire device looks and sounds quite impressive but I think the most enamoring feature is the 8 mp camera. When camera phones first came out, they all featured resolutions that are so poor, they were virtually useless. But today, a quality camera a key feature for most premium phones.

Obviously, we don’t know when the Samsung Galaxy S III will be available for purchase but we do speculate that it will come out around the same time as the Apple iPhone 5 which is in October.
