Apple's New iPad Launched in India for Rs. 30,500

Apple has not yet stopped the continuation of the release of its new iPad, as the device has today launched in nine additional countries including India.

The other 8 countries are:

  • Colombia
  • Estonia
  • Israel
  • Latvia
  • Lithuania
  • Montenegro
  • South Africa
  • Thailand

Apple’s new iPad, with a cost ranging from Rs. 30,500 to Rs. 50,900, hit the Indian territory on Friday. India is lucky enough to be counted under the fourth wave of Apple’s iPad releases in the bunch of countries. Many countries with large middle classes including China, have not yet received the Apple’s 3rd-gen tablet.

The newly launched iPad features a new retina display screen, 5 mega-pixel iSight photographic camera, Apple’s new A5X processor with quad-core design and 1080pHD movie.

Colors:

The new iPads are available in both Black and White colors.

Costs:

The 16GB model costs Rs.30,500

The 32GB model costs Rs.36,500

The 64GB model costs Rs.42,500

The Cost For 4G Enabled iPads:

The 4G enabled 16GB iPad is available for Rs.38,900

The 4G enabled 32GB iPad is available for Rs.44,900

The 4G enabled 64GB iPad is available for Rs.50,900

Interestingly, the prices for the previous models of iPad in India have been reduced, and now the predecessor is available for Rs.24,500 instead of Rs.29,500 (for the 16GB Wifi enabled version), while the price for 16GB iPad with Wifi + 3G dropped to Rs.32,900 from Rs.34,500.
