Nokia Lumia Tab With Windows 8 Coming Out In Q4 2012

Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ:MSFTpresented Windows 8 Consumer Preview, it is a promising software that will take the PC era to a whole new level.

When Windows 8 was presented at the Mobile WorldCongress, Steven Sinofsky, president of the Windows and Windows Live Division at Microsoft said: “With Windows 8, we reimagined the different ways people interact with their PC and how to make everything feel like a natural extension of the device, whether using a Windows 8 tablet, laptop or all-in-one,” “The Windows 8 Consumer Preview brings a no-compromises approach to using your PC.”

Therefore creating a Tablet with this new software is the right path to follow, as in the tablets world, while the iPad is still king, having Nokia releasing a Windows 8 tablet would be a great idea, this is why Nokia (NYSE:NOK) is very likely to release a “Lumia” Tablet with Windows 8. The still unconfirmed tablet will be a 10-inch tablet and would have a dual-core Qualcomm ARM chipset. This Nokia tablet would be launched between September and December 2012.

Nokia is the top vendor for Windows phones, so it wasn’t a surprise when we found out that Nokia will make more Windows Mobile smartphones. They presented the Lumia phone line, being the first one to arrive the Lumia 900, and on the second quarter of 2012 the Lumia 610 that is likely to be a success too. The Lumia line is expected to be an iPhone rival.

According to DigiTimes: “Nokia is expected to outsource production of the 10-inch tablets to Compal Electronics with the first batch of shipments to top 200,000 units, the sources revealed.”

DigiTimes further added that: “However, other sources noted that Nokia’s venture into the tablet PC market will also further intensify competition among non-iPad tablet PC vendors.”

A Nokia tablet is still a rumor, but pretty much a good rumor. Having a Nokia Windows 8 Tablet will change the future of other competitors who make Android Tablets and iOS Tablets (Apple iPad). If you were able to pick between those three, which one would be your best option?
