Apple's New iPad Jailbroken On First Day Of Launch

The new iPad (third generation) is just launched and surprisingly a hacker – MuscleNerd has managed to jailbreak this new tablet. It seems that hackers are getting smarter these days. The hacker tweeted out this evidence by posting an image which shows Cydia and root access acquired on this new device.

For those who don’t know, Jailbreaking is the process on an iOS device which allows the installation of third-party applications. These third party applications are not officially approved by Apple. Jailbreak process also gives users the permission to install any paid app for free, without even spending a penny. This directly affects the developer of the app in a negative way. Its the end users that need to decide whether they want to Jailbreak their iDevice or not.

MuscleNerd tweeted:

Just a first step, still lots of work to do! No ETA!

There is no word yet about final usable tool and when will it be released to the public. But this tweet is a proof that Apple’s third generation of iPad is Jailbroken, and this time within just a few hours.
