Irving Fisher is rightly thought of as one of the pioneers of neoclassical economics. The theme of my essay is he should also be consider of a pioneer of what i will call “modern behavioral economics.” i will start by defining what i mean by this term, then point to some Fisher’s contributions in this domain.
